Project Overview – From Residential Flat to Professional Studio
GLS Building Contractors Ltd was appointed to deliver a full property conversion in Ealing Broadway for IDStudios London. The site was originally a residential flat, comprising a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Our challenge was to reconfigure and transform this space into a modern, professional studio environment.

Design & Collaboration – Working with IDStudios and Partners
Working closely with IDStudios and their design partners, our team undertook significant internal layout changes to meet the technical and functional requirements of a professional dance facility. The project involved bespoke finishes, acoustic considerations, and specialist coordination with industry partners. Every detail — from flooring suitable for movement to lighting and sound integration — was carefully planned and executed.

Outcome – A World-Class Studio Environment
The conversion resulted in two state-of-the-art studios in the heart of West London, now used by IDStudios London in collaboration with AM Studios and Eventtec Sound & Lighting. These facilities provide dancers with a world-class environment for training, castings, and rehearsal. This project is a strong showcase of GLS Building Contractors Ltd’s capability to transform ordinary properties into specialist environments that deliver lasting value.
